A broken man in a search for redemption finds himself in a life or death struggle to save a young girl from supernatural forces old as the human race.

SYNOPSIS:

The Lonely falls into the same realm as stories such as The Grudge, The Ring, Insidious and Sinister. It’s the story of John Adams, a grieving man who witnessed his daughter Melissa commit suicide. Melissa kept saying she wasn’t lonely right before she pulled the trigger. Years later, John is on a relentless hunt for answers as he’s come to the conclusion that his daughter was driven to suicide by sinister forces.

A young girl by the name of Katie Jacobs has been hearing voices and whispers in the dark. Soon however, she discovers that it’s not all in her mind when the lonely ones start to visit her. They tell her they love her and that she belongs with them in the darkness. They say she belongs to them and that they’re so lonely without her. John believes Katie is being pursued just like his daughter was and they’re quickly drawn into a desperate fight for their lives against a mysterious force that will stop at nothing until Katie is lost to the darkness forever.
