SYNOPSIS:
Synopsis:
Brad Willoughby is an actor who lived his heyday on the small and the big screens. He receives a phone call from his agent, who wants to send him to a film casting which is described by him as a future blockbuster. Brad plans to visit his family and his friends from Seattle to tell them the big news.
While at the airport, he will meet Jill, an appealing young lady who will spend his time with during the flight delay, because of a storm. Minutes later, they will witness a horrible crime and after that, they are asked to join a witness protection program, where they will pretend to be a young couple in their new location in Michigan.
The protagonists reach their new location where they are expected by the family which will accommodate them. After a short visit to the local shop, they return home to find dumbfounded the dead bodies of their host family.
The action of the film moves now in the near future, 6 months later, where Jill and Brad, still being part of the witness protection program will get a new home which is arranged by the FBI. At this point in their life, they are in love and they are part of a genuine relationship, but living a normal life is impossible because of the program.
Brad goes through an accident on his new job where he spills a series of chemicals over himself. He tries to get out of the lab, which he mistakenly puts in the fire. His doctor will suggest that he play baseball for his recovery. He takes on the recommendation of his doctor and will become a MLB baseball player. He will be observed playing by Frank, a passionate businessman and former scout, who sees his potential and asks him to join the professional league.
Brad further discovers that his outstanding talent for baseball comes because of the chemicals he spilled over himself in the lab accident.
Meanwhile, the criminal called as The Butcher escapes from the prison and comes after the witnesses.
Living the American dream, Brad quickly becomes a phenomenal pitcher. He is seen by his father while playing in the Seattle team, and they will anonymously keep in contact.
During a pennant game, the criminal will discover Brad and will attack him, but his father who happens to be there, will calm a panicked crowd that is quickly turning into an angry mob, and by doing so indirectly helps save his son.
