In the battle to save her youth centre from corporate development teen activist Celeste discovers an amulet that imbues her with the power to see the truth of a person and the strength to act when she needs to. 

SYNOPSIS:

Celestial is the story of a 15 year old activist who becomes imbued with powers that are a help and a hinderance to her cause.

Celeste is trying to stop the development of a new high rise block of executive apartments on an area of local beauty and her youth centre. She and her rag tag bunch of friends, her Dad and an enthusiatic english teacher are the tiny wall blocking the way against a corporation, lead by the devious and dubious Mr Frost, who’s dealings are more than questionable.

On her way to a council meeting where the situation is going to be discussed between herself, the council and the developers she discovers a discarded necklace. Drawn to the necklace she puts it on and finds herself transported to a realm full of ethereal women. These are the former wearers of the necklace of Aleithea. Aleithea is a goddess of Truth. Celeste is told that she is next in line to be the wearer of the necklace and with it comes the power of Aleithea. The ability to see the truth of a person and the strength to act when that truth is not for good.

At first Celeste can't get the powers under control and scuppers her original plans to stop the developers from moving ahead. This huge blow is exacerbated by the arrival of Pax, a woman who's strength matches Celeste's and due to a long connection to the necklace, wants the power for herself.

Pax launches a violent attack on Celeste in which she must get control of her powers in order to defend herself and her friends. She manages to do this and subdue Pax but not before her loyal teacher is badly injured in the fight.

Seeing an opportunity Mr Frost strikes a deal with Pax. Pax will take Celeste out of the game for him and he will facilitate her release and getting the necklace.

with both Pax and Mr Frost's cronies gunning for Celeste she and her friends must use not only Celeste's new powers but also their own wits and intelligence to get through this ordeal and save all that is important to them, including their own lives.
