Thought I wanted to go right into acting but I think the best way to get my foot in the door would be to do some modeling.

Good morning. I am not an actress & model but i am the mother of one. My daughter, Hope MacKenzie Perry Is 9 years old & is a actress & model, so if she can do it, you can. Just never stop working toward your dreams. Go to classes, get an agent, memorize a monologue & make it believable, learn improvisation, read backstage.com articles. They are written by casting agents, directors, actors, etc... so they know what they are talking about. Do you have a professional actors head shot? & for modeling you need a comp card. I love seeing other kids make their dreams come true. If you have passion for acting & modeling & you are willing to work for free, look for student films that need actors, that away you can start a resume. Having an agent helps a lot, but until you get one you can submit yourself to certain websites like dragonuk.com, mandy.com, exploretalent.com, backstage com. Some are free. I wish you the best of luck. Never give up.
