An introverted, asexual aspiring journalist moves to New York City and discovers that her new apartment is haunted by the codependent ghost of the murdered previous tenant

SYNOPSIS:

Anna Sumner is an ambitious introvert, excited to finally live alone and make a real attempt at working as a journalist, despite the dying industry. Speaking of dying, because of a grisly unsolved murder, she got a one-bedroom apartment for far cheaper than market value, which she didn't think twice about until the ghost of the codependent Emily Bancroft introduces herself. With the help of her new true-crime-obsessed friend Theo and her own journalistic instincts, Anna begins to investigate Emily's death hoping finishing her unfinished business will finally exorcize the unexpected roommate. But as she delves deeper into Emily's life and death and the two girls find common ground despite their many differences, they both must learn to compromise and communicate, or risk being defined by their fears.
