My question is 'why' is she confined to the same house she used with her ex.? Should be a plausible explanation.
(2)
You could also skip her name, and instead describe her (flaw). a "headstrong woman" ,an "young woman" etc.

When [INCITING INCIDENT OCCURS], a [SPECIFIC PROTAGONIST] must [OBJECTIVE], or else [STAKES]
