... I can't believe it's been almost fifty years since she kissed me and wished me good luck. Little did I know that was the last time I would see her.

 This woman was beautiful! Her hair was long, eyes bright and believed it me. Wow!

We decided to go anyplace to live and prosper.

Five pm she mentioned a Rider needed to go to Alaska. We were living in Tucson AZ (1976) The first thought was working the Alyeska Pipeline. To my amazement I was leaving the next morning at six am.

$200.00 dollars in my pocket and a traveler's check for $800.00 (I did not know that would take 10 days to cash. 

I was supposed to buy half of the gas. My ability to barter was born! 

SYNOPSIS:

6 days and nights driving nonstop north to Alaska, The Rocky Mountains CA, OR, WA, British Columbia Canada, Yucon Territory (120 mi south of the arctic circle) then SW to Chugiak AK,

All this in January 1976.
