I like this one, but "brash woman" is not sounding great i.e. I don't know what you mean and if I have to guess it's kind of reading negative against women. Consider rearranging it: A fading action movie star is kidnapped by a crazed (well-intentioned, deranged) woman helping her best friend to seduce his wife, but the star might have just found his comeback.

This isn't great because it's too passive and I think you want the woman to be the main character, but maybe it helps.
