SYNOPSIS:

Sofia suffered a lot from bullying while she was growing up and the feeling of being a victim to her circumstances never really left her.

After her bankruptcy, she falls into depression; a writer who's dreams of becoming famous are being swallowed by the lacks she experiences.

She leaves on holidays to visit South Florida and falls in love with the abundance she sees all around. She decides to move there, not knowing how that dream can become a reality.

She has no jobs, no money, no relations, only hope.

Fortuitous circumstances help her settle in. Panic makes her find ways to increase her income. But then, she must face the US administration and requirements it takes to become a US resident...

Credulous, she hires lawyers who steal from her. She buys a car illegally sold that is taken from her. She falls in live with a narcissistic perverse liar and cheater. She rents an apartment filled with bed bugs. She leaves, homeless, broken and, yet again, a victim.

Will she commit suicide or will she overcome all the life threatening obstacles and win her way to success.

The theme of the story is: When beaten, you have only two choices: to lead of die. Everyone can be a phoenix,against all odds, rise from the ashes when standing up for oneself.
