A veteran fighter pilot near retirement is given a last chance at redemption when he is asked to lead a team of hotshot fliers flying advanced stealth aircraft against a enemy pilot code named, The Ghost.
SYNOPSIS:
During the early years of America's war on terror, A Marine Corp. Captain named Chris Jackson ( call sign Stonewall) and his close friend and wingman are jumped by two enemy stealth fighters while conducting a bombing run. Jackson is wounded and his wingman and close friend is killed. Fast forward to present day and Jackson is close to retirement. We then meet Naval Captain, Conner Richards who offers Jackson one last chance at redemption by offering him the lead position on a elite team of navy hotshots who now fly an updated advanced naval stealth fighter of their own. Richards has his own reasons for wanting Jackson to assume this leadership role, which is discovered later on. Jackson accepts the roll. We then meet his team. One in particular is a young navy Lieutenant named Katherine. She is considered to be the best female fighter pilot in a male dominated environment, and is out to prove it every time she flies. This causes added tension to the mission. In the meantime the enemy pilot, who has now been given the code name, The Ghost is tearing up the skies over the middle east; dispatching death on unfortunate American pilots and ground forces. With the brass demanding immediate action, Jackson and his team are finally sent into harm's way to take on The Ghost. For Jackson, this fight has now turned personal, and the story climaxes with him fighting the ghost of his past, and the deadly adversary who is the cause of his torment.
