SYNOPSIS:

Taking place over the course of a year, the story begins with a young man, the son of an old-school record producer. Once part of successful pop group (Like the Jacksons) the young man feels distant from the music he is singing. He has tried to write different song from the group, all of which are rejected by the group. When the group breaks up, the kid decides to take a chance on writing the best song he can write. Under an pseudonym, he rites and records a song called Star-Lights. The film covers the different artists who end up covering the song (all from different genres, from Rap to Country, from Rock to R&B) each artist going through a crisis in their personal and professional lives. All of this leads to a special concert, and emotional evening where lives are brought together by the power of song.
