Where can one fine a "How to" guide to jumping into the Festival Circuits ?
Hi All, I am a writer and producer from the San Francisco Bay Area. I am happy to review/collaborate on writing projects or talk shop. I own a great shooting location that is affordable if anyone needs a place to film. I am eager to connect with all of you and share our common passions.

Expand commentHi everyone. While I usually present myself as a former all around creative individual who is just writing a novel, I'd like to announce that I'm coming out of retirement in a sense to produce, write and direct a documentary on a highly unusual topic in Europe next summer. The documentary is meant to spur a feature film as a tribute to the people in that country who wish to disclose a monumental discovery made in 2003 that significantly changes our perspective on mankind's true history with the finding of working, highly advanced technology that dates back 50,000 years.
I'll be looking for individuals with backgrounds in computer graphics, perhaps a few moments of CGI, music and other fields as I am now beginning to work up a budget.

Potential outlets are worldwide television, later Internet, in that this subject has global implications. Please contact me if you believe you might be interested and have a background that fits.
And my best to everyone finding creative work that you can pour your sense of passion into...
As a Producer... what would be your one piece of advice to someone looking to get their film made... (mostly... what NOT to do LOL)

Expand commentFollowing my writing of an action/adventure film, I was taken into training by John G Wilson, unit production manager and producer who had a terrific reputation. During my four years of actually finding funding for major films [from $3M to $60M] I watched heart breaking events follow which killed the potential for production of a number of what would have been good if not great stories. I'm only setting this up as such to suggest answers to your question, but NOT as much in the negative [...as I'm a glass half full person]. How fully developed is the production? Do you have a credited UPM or producer with some skills at day to day decision making and script breakdown?
Then, interest from a qualified [or other] director[s]. NOT being to pushy about the project helps, in my opinion, as you promote the general audience or genre following pitch. I could go on, but you may reach me directly at woldrob@yahoo.com. I'm only getting back into this business because I was asked to take on a subject that's quite controversial and requires absolute integrity to put over.

This is a network for you, built by you. Like most things in life, the more you participate, the greater the rewards. We ask all new members to pay it forward by inviting 5 fellow creatives to the network and by spreading the word of Stage 32 through other social media sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The more creatives, the stronger the network. The stronger the network, the more opportunities.
