In 1983, as Cold War tension builds between the US and the USSR, a small group of men stationed on America's first line of defense against Soviet bombers begin to wonder if their radar station is under attack by the enemy.
SYNOPSIS:
In 1983, Cold War tensions were the highest since the Cuban Missile Crisis. Both the US and USSR kept their forces on high alert. For the US, one of their key lines of defense was a string of radar stations along the Arctic circle, from the west coast of Canada to Greenland, to guard against the Soviet Union sending nuclear bombers over the pole. Some of these stations were large facilities, others staffed with only a few men. Fox-14 is one of these isolated stations, and Javier Sanchez has been sent there to replace a man who died in an accident.
This is Javier's first time on "The DEW Line", and he doesn't fit in well with the others. To make things worse, the men at Fox-14 start to notice suspicious things: unidentified people surveilling the station and equipment sabotage, and they begin to wonder if Soviet agents are infiltrating their station as a precursor to a first strike attack against the US. When more of the Fox-14 crew begin to die, tensions escalate between the men on the station and their mysterious attackers, until a mind-blowing revelation makes them realize the situation is far stranger and more terrifying than they ever realized.
