Two high school freshmen go on a spending spree when they find a suitcase containing 4.5 million dollars, unaware that the Mob is on their trail to get the money back.
SYNOPSIS:
When awkward freshman Zachary Hollis and his fast-talking best friend Noah Thomas stumble upon a suitcase stuffed with $4.5 million in mob money, they think they’ve just secured their future. But keeping a fortune hidden in high school proves harder than they expected—especially when a pair of dangerous gangsters, an overzealous bodyguard, and a suspicious best friend’s mom start closing in.
As their spending habits start raising eyebrows, their situation spirals out of control. Their dream of living large turns into a high-stakes disaster featuring stolen sports cars, disastrous school play auditions, and a football team ready to tackle for a cut of the cash. But the mob doesn’t take IOUs, and soon Zachary and Noah find themselves in the crosshairs of criminals who don’t believe in second chances.
With their backs against the wall and the entire school unknowingly caught in the chaos, the boys must outthink their enemies, survive high school, and somehow make it out alive—without ending up at the bottom of the lake in cement shoes. Unfortunately, high school was hard enough before organized crime got involved.
Packed with John Hughes-style teen humor and Coen Brothers-level chaos, Million Dollar High is a fast-paced, laugh-out-loud high school adventure where survival is extra credit.

I thought I recognized the plot in a more serious film, but this one seems hilariously entertaining!
