THE GHOST OF FLINTLOCK HILL

THE GHOST OF FLINTLOCK HILL
By Jerry Robbins

GENRE: Mystery, Family
LOGLINE:

When a history-obsessed teen discovers the ghost of a Revolutionary War messenger, he and his friends race to solve a 250-year-old mystery—before the past is lost forever and the ghost is trapped between worlds.

SYNOPSIS:

Flintridge, Massachusetts, is a postcard-perfect New England town steeped in Revolutionary War history. But its most famous legend—the ghost of a 14-year-old messenger who vanished during the Battle of Flintlock Hill—is more than just a myth. When teenage history buff Oliver Adams stumbles upon the restless spirit of William Cabot, he becomes determined to uncover the truth behind William’s fate and help him complete his unfinished mission.

Oliver enlists the help of his fearless best friend Ella, tech-savvy but ghost-phobic Theo, and reluctant class rival Roderick, whose own family history may hold a dark connection to the mystery. As they dig deeper, the group unearths a long-buried secret—a betrayal that not only cost William his life but altered the course of history itself. With time running out before the veil between the living and the dead closes forever, the kids must decipher hidden clues, outmaneuver those determined to keep the past buried, and confront the truth about what really happened on Flintlock Hill 250 years ago.

Blending adventure, mystery, and heart, The Ghost of Flintlock Hill is a thrilling and timely story about friendship, legacy, and the power of history—perfectly aligned with America’s upcoming 250th anniversary celebration.

(Note: This story’s themes of history and remembrance coincide with the USA’s Semiquincentennial in 2026, making it especially relevant.)
