A spirited lobster captain fights to protect her family’s legacy while grappling with the unexpected arrival of a charming restaurateur whose high-stakes proposal threatens her community and tests the boundaries of her heart.
SYNOPSIS:
In Braddock’s Cove, a quaint New England harbor town, Samantha “Sam” Braddock is the proud captain of her late father’s lobster boat and the backbone of her family’s century-old legacy. With her loyal crew and lifelong best friend Jack by her side, Sam works tirelessly to uphold the traditions of her small-town community while funding her younger sister’s dream of medical school. But Sam’s world is thrown off course when Ralston Cooper, a slick and ambitious restaurateur from Los Angeles, arrives with an offer to partner with her and market Braddock lobsters as the centerpiece of his new luxury online business.
Sam is immediately wary of Ralston, whose proposal to buy up her entire catch risks alienating her loyal customers -- local restaurant owners who rely on her to survive. As Ralston embeds himself in the town, he begins to chip away at Sam’s defenses, and she finds herself torn between the stability of tradition and the allure of change. When rumors swirl about their growing connection, Sam must fight to hold onto the trust of her community while navigating the complicated feelings that Ralston stirs in her heart.
But as the tides shift, it’s Jack who stands steadfast, reminding Sam of her roots and the support that’s been beside her all along. In the process, she begins to see Jack in a new light, realizing her feelings for him are deeper than friendship. With Jack’s quiet strength and her community’s trust at stake, Sam charts a course to secure her family’s future—while finally following her own heart.
