After an aborted suicide attempt, a promising actor engages in an affair with an aspiring actress in an open marriage to a jealous husband who stages a scenario of deceit and manipulation the actor must play to save himself from madness and ruin.

SYNOPSIS:

Victor, a promising actor, delivers a knockout performance in a lackluster play. Backstage he meets Dymphna, an aspiring actress. After a night of passion, Dymphna confesses she’s in an open marriage and has a child. Dymphna tells her husband, Kyle, about Victor. As the relationship between Victor and Dymphna deepens, Kyle foresees that he could lose Dymphna to Victor so he devises a plan to tear Victor and Dymphna apart. He writes a play for Dymphna and Victor, a distorted mirror of this love triangle. Despite not knowing its subject matter, Victor agrees to act in the play to please Dymphna. In rehearsal, Kyle manipulates Victor and Dymphna. He destroys their relationship and brings them to the brink of madness.
