SYNOPSIS:
Nat is a top notch interplanetary negotiator. She works for S.E.T.A.G., an independent organization who guarantees successful results for all contracts all the time. Nat has been a stellar desk agent for years, but she's doubting her abilities as a field agent. When fellow agent Alec calls with a personal favor to assist him on a contract that's falling into a civil war which, at the very least, could lead to a galaxy-wide economic meltdown, who is she to say no? Rocky negotiations go from bad to worse when one of the Ambassadors is murdered and Alec is framed. Nat suddenly finds herself in over her head as Alec is forced into hiding and an agent of a local Underground movement becomes her closest ally. Alec proposes a plan to quickly resolve everything that leaves her head spinning and rethinking S.E.T.A.G. and everything it does. As Nat feverishly works to clear Alec's name and prevent a civil war she must decide whether she really has it in herself to be a field agent or even an agent at all.
