LOGLINE: After a string of bad relationships ending in spectacular fashion, our heroine reaches a point of insanity and or clarity, vowing to help all woman who are in a relationship with a lying man seek retribution by opening up a detective agency with the sole purpose of busting these offenders.

SYNOPSIS:

Jacquelyn Brooks was struggling to maintain relationships. She thought social media would help her be able to meet more guys, but all it really seems to do is give guys more ways to lie and avoid commitment. After catching her last "boyfriend" in a lie, she's ready to give up on dating. Depressed, she sits at her desk at work when she overhears another female co-worker talking about her boyfriend. Something about what she says triggers Jacquelyn and she blurts out, "Well that's a lie". Naturally the co-worker wants to know why she would think that. Hesitant to get involved, Jacquelyn lends her expertise knowledge at how guys lie. Curious as to whether or not this is the truth, the ladies resolve to a stake out of guy to see if it really was a lie. And sure enough, they catch him with another girl. "You have a super power to catch cheating ass men", her co-worker claims. Jacquelyn, downplays the situation, but the next night a group of women, and one man, show up at her apartment with brilliant idea of starting a detective group, a group dedicated to helping those in relationships where there is distrust. Well finally she is talked into it and agrees to lead the group. They start out small, but word spreads quickly and the group grows in size. Things become quite professional, disguises, walkie talkies, the whole nine yards. But while on a stake out Jacquelyn is approached by a man interested in her. He's charming and polite and soon has her interest as well...until... "what do you do for a living", she asked? He's a lawyer. Perfect. The first guy she meets and would go out with is a lawyer. No chance he's honest. But, she agrees to go out with him anyway. The two hit it off and soon the relationship begins to grow, but there is one problem. In order to keep the group going she has to lie to him, and in order to keep the relationship going she has to lie to the group, thus making her the one thing she was so sick of...a liar. All of the lies begin to pile on her and they finally catch up to her when her boyfriend insists that she meet his friends and he meet hers. He shows her a picture of him and his buddies and she agrees to set up a hang out, but when she gets home the group let's her know they have found the biggest offender to women and they are ready to bring him down. When they show her the picture of the offender she instantly realizes who he is...the friend of her boyfriend. How can she avoid this all crashing in her face? When and if he finds out what she really has been doing how can she explain it all? And most importantly, will she ever find out why guy's lie?
