An oblivious Chinese-American girl who cares no more than celebrity gossips and dating has to travel back to Chongqing, China for a family event, and accidentally knocks into an ancient Chinese fairyland through Hongya cave. In the fairyland, she gradually learns to genuinely care about other individuals, as well as grows into a responsible and independent adult and leader whom she never thought she could be.
