A time rift brings a man face-to-bones with his murdered corpse. His efforts to discover his killer and change the future keeps bringing him back to his new wife and their disturbing past.
SYNOPSIS:
Adrian, his new wife, Tisha, and her young son, Toby, move to a secluded home to distance themselves from a violent past. As the world copes with the effects of a time rift, Adrian finds a corpse buried in the well. His fixation with the corpse leads him to recognize a number of similarities between it and him. He comes to believe it is his body, and that he was murdered. Their only neighbor, a peculiar Vietnam vet, helps Adrian understand the time rift and the consequences of Adrian ignoring his find. The corpse has a broken arm. As long as his arm remains unbroken, Adrian has time to reverse the future. Adrian neglects to fix the house while he obsesses over the skeleton. Tisha pushes him to forget it and take care of his family. Protecting Toby from seeing the bones, Adrian breaks his arm. The fracture is identical to the one on the corpse. This renews his obsession, and a building suspicion of Tisha. He grows more distant and deranged while trying to appear unaffected. Deeper in the well, he finds a child’s skeleton and determines it to be Toby’s. Adrian arms himself, prepared to stop Tisha before she kills them. The deadly game converges at the well, where the future quickly becomes the present… and part of the past.
