A grieving young woman finds herself entangled in a forgotten tragedy when she inherits an old abandoned manor and finds an evil reawakened by her presence determined to settle an old score and trap her inside the manor forever.

SAMANTHA WILSON comes back to Whispering Willows to bury her mother. After being gone for several years she feels the weight of guilt bearing down. Comforted by her best and closest friend growing up, RACHEL REDCLOUD, she attends the reading of her mother’s will where she learns that she has inherited the old abandoned Manor outside of town--WILLOWS MANOR. Thinking her mother had sold the place years ago she is quite surprised and a bit annoyed as this is yet one more thing she has to deal with. Back at her mother’s house, Samantha goes through her mom's belongings and comes across a weathered leather trunk. Inside she finds a photograph brittle and worn. The air grows thick as Samantha studies the dated photograph. Flipping it over she finds written “My Aunt Olivia.” The longer she studies the more intensely drawn to her she feels. The photography is rare not because of its delicate nature, or the fact that it has some detail of her family’s past---it is Samantha’s uncanny resemblance to Olivia that sets it apart.

1880:

DAKOTA WILLOWS walks through the dense woods surrounding his vast property when he is attacked by a SOUL TAKER, a malicious Native American spirit. Found near death by a band of OSAGE Indians they quicky return him to his home. Later that night, OLIVIA, Dakota’s fiance’ rushes to be at his deathbed only to find him up and about like nothing happened. But something did happen---something that would cost Olivia her life and ultimately trap Dakota inside WILLOWS MANOR forever.

The lines that separate time and space soon blur as Samantha finds herself also trapped inside the walls of Willows Manor where she comes face to face with the legend himself. Over a hundred years have passed that Dakota Willows has searched for his beloved Olivia---finding nothing.
