Brothers Jack and Thomas travel to Salem to solve the mystery behind the many unsolved missing persons cold cases on file, only to find they are in a race against time to find four teenagers.

SYNOPSIS:

Indebted to the voodoo witch MAMA MABEL, that saved them back from certain death, brothers JAKE and THOMAS are in present day Salem.

Unclear why they Mama Mabel has sent them to Salam, the boys enrol in the local school to blend in whilst they wait for their purpose to present itself.

A pretty girl that reminds him of his own high school sweetheart back home catches Jake's focus and he joins the soccer team and drama club to be closer to her. Trouble is, she has a boyfriend. The quarter back of the high School football team.

Four teenagers go missing. The town is in an uproar as the media stokes up the tension with headlines of a “Child Catcher” on the loose.

False alarm. After a talking to the missing kids’ classmates, one, Pete reveals they are down at the old boathouse. The missing teens are missing no longer, but in a lot of trouble with their parents. Trouble, they blame on Pete. Trouble, they intend to repay.

Attacked after school by the four, Jack and Thomas are drawn to his aid by OLIVIA, Pete’s best and only friend. They find Pete hiding out at the local cinema, nursing his bruises.

Pete, a victim of an abusive father and bullied in school touches the hearts of Jake and Thomas, who, convinced he is their purpose, befriends him, bringing light and laughter into the boy’s life for the first time.

Whilst on a date with EMMA a fellow student, seeing the haunted sites of Salem, she tells of recent ghost sightings of Giles Corey, thought to foretell impending disaster for Salem.

Jake, believing this may be his true purpose, tracks down the Ghost of Giles Corey and some of the other famous ghosts of Salem, but comes up empty.

More confused than ever, Jake and Thomas once more come to Pete’s aid, viciously attacked by the Teen Gang before, once again disappearing, together with one of their school teachers, Mr Rendell.

Their purpose becomes clearer as they discover Pete’s friend is Olivia, a friendly ghost, Emma is a witch and the story of Hansel and Gretel is not just a fairy tale.

Jake and Thomas, together with Pete, Olivia and Emma, seek THE HAG who lives in the woods, confirming she has indeed been snatching and eating “bad people.”

The cold cases were actually nice and hot and pretty tasty.

The Hag believes Jake and Thomas are the “Soldiers” of prophecy and to test them, sends them on a trial to prove their worth.

Jake and Thomas successfully face their trial and win the freedom of the four kids. Mr Rendell... he was not so fortunate. Tasty though.

Jake and Thomas are surprised to learn they are not damned; their souls are not lost but held within the Underworld and together with Emma and Olivia, plan to retrieve them.

Completing their mission, they solve the mystery of George Coles' ghostly haunting. It was a fake, played by Pete’s Dad as he sold off a stash of prohibition booze he had found down under the graveyard with tunnels leading to the old boathouse.
