Interesting concept and great title, Rob McNeil! I think you're really close to a solid logline. Here's two logline suggestions:
A power-hitting Major League superstar is sent to the minor leagues and must adapt to ill reception, drastic organizational changes, and an unexpected reunion with a former lover as his arm gets weaker and his career spirals.
A power-hitting Major League superstar is sent to the minor leagues where he must adapt to ill reception, drastic organizational changes, and an unexpected reunion with a former lover as his arm gets weaker and his career spirals.
But I'm not sure about "an unexpected reunion with a former lover." How would he adapt to that?
