GENRE: Independent, Thriller
LOGLINE:

A lonely groundskeeper struggles with the crushing guilt of a local murder, eventually losing himself as he desperately tries to cling onto an innocence he never truly lost.

SYNOPSIS:

Michael is the Forest Gardens Neighborhood go-to guy. He maintains the grounds, watches the community and lending a helping hand is his job. The community is full of eclectic characters, but none more than Iris Lagos, an eccentric widowed artist who starts to have some problems with her next door neighbors.

Iris develops a conviction that her neighbors have been spying on her with planted microphones in her home and shocking her through the floorboards. Her paranoia and neurosis begin to take a heavy toll. Iris reaches out to the only person she trust to talk to about this matter: Michael.

Michael leaves this meeting with Iris disturbed and shaken after hearing her story. The very next day, Iris' neighbors are found murdered in their home.

With an active investigation and a suspicious detective taking on the case, Michael begins to withdraw and develop his own paranoia surrounding the murder and what he heard the day before. Unable to feel safe, Michael questions his complicity and involvement. He begins to visit anyone that might've seen him that day, particularly a six year old boy from across the street...

Unravelling a plan to ensure his hands are clean even if that means harming the innocent.
