THE FALL OF DARK
By Mitchell P. Ganem

GENRE: Horror
LOGLINE:

A young film student's life becomes stranger than his fiction when a supernatural killer terrorizes the city and the new girl at school takes a more than passing interest in his work, his friends and his heart - landing him square in the sights of all those pursuing the killer.

SYNOPSIS:

Michael Bolt is a young man on a mission. A mission to make movies. Specifically, horror movies. He lights up his college film classes with twisted homage’s to Hitchcock and the gang with mad scientist fanaticism. As college life swirls ahead at full-tilt, a killer is terrorizing the city. A killer who moves in and out of shadows. Seen but, never really seen. But the dead bodies are real and they are all mutilated in ways that seem… otherworldly. And strangely similar to scenes in a film that Michael is making. In the meantime, he begins a torrid affair with Katherine, the cool new girl on campus - and a friend of his girlfriend to the moment, Emily. Katherine insinuates herself into every facet of Michael’s life, including taking a starring role in his latest film – a horror film set in the graveyard that bears eerie similarities to the killings taking place in the city. One man takes the strangeness of the killings to heart. Professor Abraham Boromir is convinced that the killings are actually the work of a succubus; a female demon who travels through the dreams of men and assumes whatever female form she chooses to accomplish her desires. And what she mainly desires is to feed on the souls of men. As the deaths mount, the story hurtles toward its conclusion where Michael, Katherine and Emily must battle things out. The end takes a surprising twist when the police come to the conclusion that Michael is the killer and Katherine disappears. Or does she? Only the glowing red eyes of the female news reporter on the scene may reveal otherwise…
