Cooter Brown is a Civil War era drama based on the life of the legendary drunk by the same name. Forrest Gump in the mid 1800s.
Great premise! I'd love to check it out. And pardon me, but when I was living in the South, I seem to remember that "cooter" meant something quite different...HA!
Sounds interesting, Mark. I grew up in east Arkansas near Memphis in the 50's and 60's, and I remember people using the expression, "drunker than Cooter Brown" back then. Was Cooter Brown a real person? If so, was he in the Memphis area?
Hello Mark - would you be willing to share a scene from this drama so that I can see your writing style?
