An astronomer notices a cesium reading during his observations. The cesium reading only lasted a short time. After some investigating the astronomer suspects extraterrestrial intelligence may be causing these “cesium flashes”.

Thank you all. Pamela Bolinder, yes your logline is much better. The main character doesn't suspect an intelligent hand behind the phenomena until he spots some coincidences. Should that affect the logline or is the time lapse irrelevant to the logline?
