An American homeowner describes the wrath of her mortgage lender, the ominous Wells Fargo "Playbook," ambiguous Dodd Frank Act and a polarized commercial banking system during the Great Recession of 2008.
SYNOPSIS:
In 2008, a worldwide financial, unemployment and foreclosure crisis left millions of Americans jobless and homeless. Analysts fear that taxpayer bailouts for the world's largest banks could be the new norm in the United States. The Dodd Frank Act and Wells Fargo "Playbook" are featured in this short-subject documentary, as one homeowner gives a personal testimony as it relates to the blatant presence of institutional racism and white-collar criminality within a complex and dubious commercial banking industry.
