I think your logline needs some work. You put "before it kills her younger sister who as become infected," so I don't think you need "In a race against time." I suggest changing "In a race against time" to the inciting incident.
Here's a logline suggestion: "After ______ (the inciting incident), the Chief Virologist at the CDC works tirelessly to find a way to develop a vaccine for a mysterious alien (or "extraterrestrial") disease before it kills her younger sister."

You're welcome, Gregory Q. Jenkins. I think "to find a way to develop a vaccine" is the unique part of your concept because how do you even develop a vaccine for an alien disease????? :)
