SYNOPSIS:
Tech Savvy CPD Detective Wynola Grey and her partner, the highly intuitive Lula Mae Lowe must determine what connection a brutally slain couple in the low income South Side Chicago neighborhood of Englewood have with the recently murdered actor son of a Lutheran Pastor. In doing so, they must uncover some very ugly secrets from the victim's past that not only bring up their own personal issues, but also the realization that Justice isn't necessarily fair.
Thank you. I need to start working on the pitch for this one. I really hate pitching. did it at the AFI and I ALWAYS managed to trip over my tongue and get flustered 2 seconds in.
Very well written logline and intriguing synopsis! As a former Chicagoan, I love the seedy setting of southside Chicago. Growing up hearing stories about Cabrini Green. Excellent work, Elaine!
