Can two adults plan a perfect break-up?

SYNOPSIS:

In a small college town, Elisa, a personal chef with bigger dreams, and her 4-year-old son Noah struggle through a bitter separation from Noah's father. At her friend's behest, she attends a meditation circle hosted by Ruben, a Fulbright med student from Peru. As Ruben supports Elisa during her separation, they bring the best out of each other; however, both know that Ruben has a unwavering commitment back home, and is set to graduate in four months. Not wanting to prematurely lose this beautiful relationship, they make a plan — A Perfect Break-up — for when the time comes. Elisa, Noah and Ruben's growing attachment, the pressure of Ruben's graduation and Elisa's parents' growing concern about her relationship combine to make their plan a challenging task.
