GENRE: Crime, Comedy
LOGLINE:

Mary parks her car in a diner. On her way out to Las Vegas she mistakenly gets the wrong car and leaves with a long list of troubles in her trunk.

SYNOPSIS:

Mary, a struggling actress, not so young anymore, a little clumsy, comes out of the modest apartment complex she lives in and gets in her old white Honda. She drives to a diner nearby and parks in the parking lot, but a little far from the entrance. Worried she enters the venue and sits alone for breakfast while she checks on an add to work as a performer in some cheap cassino in Las Vegas. A few moments later, Marcus, skinny guy, a mix of rapper and gangsta wannabe, parks his old white Honda, in the parking lot, next to the diner front door and enters the restaurant too. A bit nervous and apprehensive, he sits in front of Jerome, a big real gangsta thug type. In the mean time Mary finishes her breakfast and leaves.

At the diner, Marcus and Jerome have a somewhat tense conversation about a deal, but Marcus keeps it cool, apparently. They finish their meal and go check the merchandise Marcus should deliver to Jerome. At the parking lot, surprise, Marcus car is not there! He tries to explain it was probably stolen, but Jerome doesn’t buy the story and gives him an ultimatum: if he doesn’t deliver the merchandise, he’s dead.

At the diner Marcus, desolated, looks at the parking lot outside. A parked van moves out of its spot revealing an old white Honda. Marcus sees it and immediately calls Jerome back to the diner. When Jerome gets there, they go to the car and Marcus struggles to open the trunk in front of an angry Jerome. Marcus kicks the car and the trunk finally opens. Marcus finds some weird bags inside the trunk and open one of them. It’s full of panties and shiny kinky female costumes. Pale, puzzled and terrified, he looks at a furious Jerome: are you kidding? Marcus digs in the bags and finds Mary’s headshot with her phone number.

Still on the phone, Mary checks the bags in the trunk and finds money, drugs and guns. In the mean time a police car stops behind her and the officer steps out of the car and approaches her. Mary, nervous, freeze while Marcus hear everything and threatens her. She hangs up.

Mary opens the trunk again and stares at the bag full of money and then at the guns and drugs. She now has second thoughts. Gets back in the car and leaves. A few miles later she stops at a small restaurant by the road. She takes a sit, asks for some food, thinks for a while and inquires the waitress about the restroom. It’s outside.

On the road, Marcus drive at top speed until that same police officer who sopped Mary makes them stop. The officer comes to their car and tell them that not only they were speeding, but they also have a broken break light. Both are nervous and the officer makes them step out of the car and show him the trunk. When they open it, all Mary’s kinky garments and a few sex toys are spread all over the trunk. The officer looks at them disgusted and both guys swear that stuff is not theirs. The officer doesn’t buy it and gives them two tickets. Pissed off they continue the run after Mary.

stop, so they start shooting. She finally stops, frozen. They check the bag she’s carrying, it’s the money. When they ask about the guns and the drugs, she tells them she left them at the restaurant, on the back. They get furious, drag her back into the car and drive back to the restaurant.

The officer sees the opportunity and gets weirdly happy with what’s inside. Jerome notices it and decides to take action, Marcus nods negatively as if begging him not to do anything stupid. Jerome reaches out for the gun on his back, the officer shoots him, at the same time Marcus reaches out for a gun at the bag and shoots at the officer, hell takes over for a few seconds. Mary crouches in the middle and screams. Then silence. The officer lays dead on the ground and Jerome too. Marcus, speechless, scared, stares at the scene and turns abruptly to check on Mary, but she gets scared and unintentionally shoots him in the chest with a gun she had taken from the bag.

The mysterious driver in the muscle car sees the restaurant in a distance and slows down just in time to catch the waitress check the bags left behind and take them. The mysterious driver then stops the car, steps out of it, very self assured, with a double barrel sawed gun, and tells the waiter to stop and drop the bags, which he does. The mysterious driver then ask what happened there. The waitress has no clue, she just heard the shots. The mysterious driver check on the bodies and finds a piece of paper in Marcus pocket. It’s Mary’s headshot. He remembers her from passing by on the road, then he gets in the car, makes a u-turn and leaves.

The End.
