A couple on thr edge of marital breakdown are tested when they become marooned on a Living Island.

SYNOPSIS:

Jake is facing a mid-life crisis and seeks adventure in an effort to stay young— while grappling with Rinah’s increasing fears and a previous miscarriage. Their strained relationship has left them teetering on the edge of divorce.

When a weekend getaway turns sour due to Jake’s ‘surprise’ hot-air balloon flight, the couple end up stranded on a small out island off the Long Island coast. To their shock, Jake discovers that the island is alive and is taking them out to sea. Jake must avoid sinkholes, hungry flesh-eating plants and crushing tentacles in order to survive. However, he is seriously injured when Thom Island destroys their makeshift raft during a failed escape attempt.

With time running out, Jake and Rinah need to come together as never before to escape the living island or face a watery grave. Now Rinah is forced to confront her fears to help save them.
