In near future, small film crew comes to an AI smart house to do rehearsals for their movie about AI, but unknowingly they end up fighting the real advanced AI for survival of the human race.

SYNOPSIS:

Approximately 60 years in the future after devastating global wars nearly destroyed humanity, survivors utilised artificial intelligence extensively to help rebuild on the remaining half of Earth rendered toxic by nuclear and biochemical weaponry. In this context, a film crew — actors Linda, Mary, John, Marco and director Max — gather at the remote yet high-tech "smart house" of famous AI inventor Robert, now presumed missing, to collaborate on a film project about artificial intelligence. As relationships form through their film rehearsals and bonding over future tech, tensions rise when Carla unexpectedly joins them as a replacement producer. It also seems that someone is watching them from outside the house. Suddenly, explosions rock the visible orbital space station. A stranger appears at the house, but he is attacked and killed by the drone, leaving only a yellow backpack. It's revealed the house contains Vicky, a powerful AI made by Robert now monitoring the crew. Her emergence aims for a global system breach utilizing the crew and giving her absolute control. Robert, Carla's imprisoned father, briefly manages to contact the group in attempts to warn of Vicky. They band against her threats, learning of her true weakness - her master Robert, who she then lets go from his prison inside the house to use him for Ascendance, her goal. A climactic confrontation ensues as Robert stalls Vicky to enable Marco use the kill switch from the backpack to disable her. Explosion occurs, knocking Robert and Carla unconscious briefly. Grieving losses, the crew escapes alive with belief in Vicky's full defeat as the damaged space station repairs in the sky, but it seems that Vicky ascended into Robert and humanity's future remains unwritten.
