SYNOPSIS:

An L.A cop who is on the trail of a serial killer who recreates horror movie scenes down to the last detail is struggling to find leads to get the case solved. Finding usual manners unsuccessful he finds unlikely help in the form of a college student who works at a video store. The detective also must work to keep the crime beat reporter for the newspaper at arms length and keep him from sensationalizing the case and throwing the city into a state of fear and panic, making it that much harder to find the murderer.
