SYNOPSIS:

Synopsis:​ Gingerbread is an action / horror screenplay about a traumatized teenage serial killer. Tyrone Henry, also known as Gingerbread suffers from psychological episodes of split personalities resulting from the death of his grandmother Nana. Tyrone is raised in a brothel house with his mother, Tonya, a prostitute and a drug addict. Tyrone is forced to see his mother and women of the brothel engage in drugs, sex, alcohol and daily abuse. Tonya’s boyfriend, C.J., is the town's drug dealer and pimp who repeatedly abuses Tyrone mentally and physically whenever Tonya is short on cash. Later, she’s left for dead by the hands of a corrupt Mayor and henchmen, killed in a house explosion. Tyrone, under Nana’s control goes on a violent and disturbing killing spree at school sending a classmate to the hospital and others to their graves. An intense manhunt is under way but Tyrone escapes and mysteriously disappears. He is presumed dead. Twenty years later Tyrone takes the personality as Gingerbread coming home with evil intentions. He’s calculating, blood hungry and determined to exact pain on the people he feels are responsible for his parent’s death. But Nana has her own agenda; something that was stolen from her, something powerful and sacred. She wants it back. Gingerbread leaves a horrifying blood trail for F.B.I. Agents Pierce and Starks; tangled in the web of bodies with law enforcement Sheriff Patrick that’s no rest for the wicked. The deadly game of cat and mouse intensifies as Gingerbread remains one step ahead in the game of death. Distractions and interruptions jeopardize the case inflamed by the media that ignites an angry lynch mob of men and the revelations of Mayor Jordan’s secret drug operation. Gingerbread continues taunting with horrific killing tactics that draw out the corrupt Mayor Jordan and his wife from hiding and kidnaps them. Gingerbread outsmarts Agents Pierce and Starks as Sheriff Patrick turns on them fearing for his life as the next target. He leaves but runs into a trap that leads to a brutal and torturous death. Agents Pierce and Starks locate the mayor and his wife but Pierce is left for dead by the killing hands of Gingerbread. Agent Starks’ true agenda comes out with deadly intentions that leaves Agent Pierce to die and he takes Mayor Jordan as his prisoner. Agent Starks contacts Razor-x with confirmation of the retrieval of key evidence of a government drug program but more importantly, an ancient book of great power. Agent Pierce is hospitalized in a serious, but stable condition and a case of amnesia from an overdose of the drug called “Devil’s Breath.” Later that afternoon during a thunderstorm, Gingerbread is unmasked to the full transformation of a younger Nana and leaves Georgia with the past burning in flames..
