In 2005, a young man shares his testimony to a newly friend that he met at a bonfire about being diagnosed with a blood clot in his heart in 2003.
SYNOPSIS:
Set in 2002, young Charlie who’s 15 receives a metal port catheter on his jugular vein for blood transfusion purposes. Meanwhile, he spent his time playing Special Olympic sports such as basketball & volleyball. In 2003 while attending a church service, young Charlie who’s now 16 receive a terrible headache, heavy shortness of breath and a blurry vision. He gets a little prayer from his friend and feels a little better. When he got home, the pain had gotten worst that his mother, Wanda Betts rushes him to the hospital.
The next day, young Charlie spent all day in the hospital getting a series of test to see what was wrong with him. Wanda returns to the hospital hours later and receive news that Charlie is in Intensive Care Unit with a blood clot in his heart. Wanda had called young Charlie’s family members, teacher, friends to come out to the Hospital Waiting Room and join her a night of prayer for her son to live and not die as a teenager.
After seven days of being in Intensive Care Unit, the doctor decided to send young Charlie in a helicopter to a different hospital called All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida for different medical treatment. Days later, the clots were gone. When young Charlie, his parents, and grandma returned home, he starts sharing his testimony in church, at the lunch meeting, and at a friend’s house. Two Months later, he returns to All Children’s Hospital to remove the metal port catheter out of his heart in which it had a ton of clots that looked like cluster of grapes. The story ends with Wanda picking her son from the church and drives off.
