A honeymooner in Belize becomes a reluctant adventurer when an anti-American police chief frames her husband for murder, and the only one on her side is the silent ghost of an ancient Mayan woman.

SYNOPSIS:

Their Belize honeymoon is ruined when Chief Valente arrests Nicole’s husband, Michael, for a murder he did not commit.

Nicole, left to fend for herself for the first time in her life, vainly struggles to find a way to get Michael released. To make matters more complicated she has somehow picked up a ghost who is determined to follow her wherever she goes.

After getting lost in the jungle and kidnapped by drug runners, Nicole’s world disintegrates as she watches Michael crash and burn in a plane. Nicole returns home, not sure how to live without the love of her life.

But the ghost follows her even there, so Nicole is forced to return to Belize.

Once back in Belize she discovers that Chief Valente is the kingpin of the drug runners, and therefore ultimately responsible for Michael’s death. She teams up with the CIA agents assigned to expose Chief Valente and they succeed in bringing him to justice.

Her next task is to rid herself of the ghost, which she accomplishes just before she receives unexpected news that is a better reward than any she could ever imagine. Michael has survived the plane crash. The two are reunited.
