WORLD: Small town Texas. In Present Day, most are oblivious to what’s been keeping the world a somewhat sane/safe place. Historically, the protectors of the world were the GATEWALKERS who can pass through the Gates between this mortal world and the spirit realm without dying. They were in charge of fighting off demons and dark spirits. But an evil Gatewalker tainted many Gates. And these Gates turned Gatewalkers who passed through them evil. A bloody war ensued. That’s why the guardians of the Gates – WARDENS – now hunt Gatewalkers to keep the taint from spreading and prevent another war.

This is where we meet…

LEX (18): A loner Goth girl that doesn’t know she’s a Gatewalker…yet. Deep down Lex believes she’s a freak because she sees spirits in photos she takes. Lex avoids relationships like the plague, because she believes people will take off when they realize what she is.

JASON (18): The newcomer in school. Jason’s cute and immediately likable – with a relaxed vibe and the superman shirt and comic collection to match. But Jason’s also emotionally mature for his age. Unlike Lex, Jason is completely oblivious to his own unique capabilities, but would think it was cool…if he knew.
