An grumpy Park Ranger falls into the task of finding some missing hikers in the woods in fear they might be victims of a bear attack but soon learns a more disturbing truth.

SYNOPSIS:

It's Arbor Day at Hurricane Ridge which means a lot more tourists than usual coming through the park to hike the trails and take pictures. Park Ranger Wyatt(40) heads up the small team of volunteers at the visitor's center. But when a report of a bear sighting and some missing young people in the park, he has to head out into the wilderness to find what may be left of them.

Discovering a survivor up in one of the old cabins in the preserve, Wyatt gets a strange story of something attacking and killing her friends in the night. Needing to check on another ranger up the trail a ways, Wyatt guides the girl up the mountain.

Up at the observation tower, they learn the horrible truth. Somehow the trees are coming alive and killing those that threaten the forest with litter and pollution and harm. It's up to Wyatt to get the survivors back down to safety but night is quickly approaching.
