In a world full of ego-driven superheroes, a talented and powerful PR and Media Consultant must make tough choices when his superhero clients cross the line between right, wrong, and the personal. 

SYNOPSIS:

THE LENSMAN tells the story of a little-known hero who works as a PR and Digital Media Consultant to a world of super heroes that are unaware of his super powers.

The Lensman (aka, Bug) is something of a regulator, in that he ensures that the world of super heroes remain in check. As the saying goes, with great power comes great responsibility, but we also know that with great power comes ego, pride, and a false sense of self-righteousness and the potential for abuse. Bug plays an important role behind the scenes. Through his watchful eyes, and with his finger on the pulse of the digital media landscape, he works to ensure that his super clients are protected from negative public perception, while mentoring them to serve the common good.

As a PR consultant, Bug is a conduit between our Heroes’ outsized powers and personalities, and the watchful eyes of ordinary citizens, modern governmental and private and corporate institutions, and the media itself. As a mentor to these heroes, Bug helps them to understand and to manage their responsibilities, to follow a moral code, and to be leaders with character. The Lensman is the moral center of this super hero universe.

The animated web series will consist of 10 to 12 episodes of 7 to 10 minute each, which will develop and explore the world of the THE LENSMAN. Each episode will introduce a new super hero who will serve as a metaphorical manifestation of a complex mixture of the seven deadly sins or vices (Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, and Pride) and juxtapose them with the seven virtues (Chastity, Temperance, Charity, Diligence, Patience, Kindness, and Humility). Our diverse group of heroes will exhibit one or more of these conflicting vices and virtues as a dominant feature of his or her character, which will challenge the Lensman to deal with his own demons. Through a balance of humor and deep drama, THE LENSMAN will explore the character of our heroes as metaphor for how power is obtained, managed, leveraged, and used for good and evil in our modern times.
