SYNOPSIS:

A man-made bacteria is released to bring the world's population down to the 'golden billion. It starts in Northern Japan, killing instantly and killing millions. Now it's caught on the air currents and heading for the United States, where twins, a virologist, and the United States President are caught in the battle to stop the bacteria's spread. Behind it all, a group of ageing cold war spies from both sides plan to further disrupt the world. To stay one step ahead, they send a life-like android to be on the President's secret service team.
