In the year 2147, An International Military Organization (IMO) officer is tasked to capture and destroy 3 runaway humanoid android soldiers from the IMO but during his mission, he gets recurring reminders of his own past, which leads to a startling revelation to his purpose in life.
SYNOPSIS:
Set a hundred and thirty-four years into the future, ‘Trinity’ is set in a post- apocalyptic world where the divide between the rich and poor has never been more prominent. The story thus starts off with First Combat Officer Lieutenant Kasper Oplyse who is a soldier in the International Military Organization, which is the futuristic equivalent to the United Nations today. As an organization determined to maintain and control peace, Kasper and his team are sent out on various missions to ensure the peace is kept. During one mission, he is asked to dispose of three “humanoid android” soldiers – robotic soldiers that are “grown” in laboratories to fight for the organization. Disguised to look and think like humans in order to blend in, these androids have now gone rogue, and the IMO is determined to hunt them down and assigns Kasper to do so. As he delves deeper into the mission however, he discovers dark secrets about the organization. Trinity thus, is a story about identity, and what that really means. In our present world of constant social-media blogging and streaming, we have become self-marketers of our own personality, but how much do we really know about ourselves? Although set in the future, Trinity highlights this contemporary issue and explores the depths one is willing to go to find out who we are – and what our purpose is in life. No matter what age we presently live in, our ultimate question remains: What is our purpose in life? (Official Selection - Hollywood Screenplay Competition 2013 - Best Treatment)
