A mixed race Jewish lawyer contemplates a change of religion much to the displeasure of her meddlesome grandfathers.

SYNOPSIS:

Thirty something mixed race lawyer Maya gets the news that she has been offered partner at her law firm, yet, instead of feeling happy, she's conflicted about accepting the offer. She doesn't want to practice law anymore, she would rather take photographs. And instead of looking for a nice Jewish husband and having lots of babies, she is busy reading the bible and researching Jesus much to the annoyance of her meddlesome grandparents. As Maya tries to figure out what direction she wants her life to take, her grandparents try their best to push her into the direction THEY think she should go in. And with her brother Moses married to Southeast Asian Buddhist, and her sister Sarah married to a Mexican Catholic, Maya is her grandfathers last Jewish hope!
