How is everything, Brendan? I like the concept. The logline you have sounds more like a short overview or synopsis.
How about this for a new logline:
Three weeks after one of the human subjects escapes an underground lab where an incurable, flesh-eating virus was tested illegally, a group of unlikely survivors teams up to find a safe haven.
Or this:
Three weeks after one of the human subjects escapes an underground lab where biochemists conducted illegal testing of an incurable, flesh-eating virus, a group of unlikely survivors teams up to find a safe haven.
