SYNOPSIS:

Set in San Francisco, four women in their fabulous 50s are stuck in toxic relationships. After her boyfriend bails on their dream vacation to Bali, Kate convinces her friends to accompany her on the trip. But she neglects to tell them that this vacation is code for "relationship intervention", as her secret agenda is to use this trip to solve all of their love life dilemmas and set them on a new path.

While the vacation begins with a series of mishaps, adventures, and personality conflicts, things get contentious when, on a sunset cruise surrounded by Happy Couples, Kate reveals that she's enrolled them in a women's group. The discovery that Kate is micro-mangaging their vacation with an unexpected detour, causes anger to erupt like a volcano---until the storm hits. It's only when their boat nearly capsizes, causing fear-induced epiphanies (and deals made with God), that Kate's plan wins approval.

After a terrifying monkey encounter and a hair-raising motorcycle ride through the jungle, they arrive at the Women's Empowerment Group, only to find that it's led by a man with an unorthodox method designed to inspire change. Instead of focusing on men, they’re forced to examine the naked truths about themselves and their midlife fears. As each one's resolve is tested and painful wounds surface, conflicts flare between friends. It takes a battle with the predatory monkey to unite them, realizing that together, they can tackle any problem.

The return to San Francisco tests their newfound strength and insight as they prepare to make decisions that will alter the course of their lives. They must rely on the power of the sisterhood to navigate through the choppy waters of change.

After one of them ends up hospitalized with a medical crisis, they decide it's time for a vitual session with the group leader in Bali. Each woman is given a task that helps her rewrite the second half of her life story. Fast forward ONE YEAR, they return separately to Bali transformed, revealing unexpected NEW BEGINNINGS – their unbreakable friendship standing the test of time, distance and change.
