As six misfit children on a field trip to the zoo are hit by a mysterious burst of energy that splices their DNA with their favorite animal.

SYNOPSIS:

The lives of six teenagers are about to change. Years after a mysterious explosion infuses their DNA with their favorite zoo animal, the new high school student start feeling changes that make puberty look like nothing. GERALD, a loveable geek with a smart mouth, makes the best of his freshman year in high school as he dodges bullies, achieves high grades, and pines over an untouchable cheerleader named KELLY. But, Gerald starts exhibiting behavior similar to the gorillas he loved as a child. JESSA, a budding activist and animal rights advocate, begins to feel canine-like hearing and smell. Kelly, Gerald's crush and athletic cheer hopeful, uses her cat-like reflexes to score a spot on the team. SEBASTIAN, who has always been afraid of water, discovers he is the fastest swimmer in the state after rescuing a drowning student. BRIAN, the school drug dealer and burnout, is attacked during a street hustle, but his viper-speed saves his life. Meanwhile a dangerous doctor searches for people exhibiting strange powers in order to recruit them for his army.
