A kind hearted girl plagued by demons is blissfully unaware of her own hellish origin.

SYNOPSIS:

Demonesque is a coming of age adult animated horror action series about self-discovery in an always changing life environment. Lead character Amy Blightout struggles with her training in white magic, initially believing it to be due to a lack of focus & talent. In reality this is due to her being the anti-christ and her origin having a negative reaction to her abilities. Throughout the series’ run Amy comes to terms with her demonic heritage and with best friend Javier’s support comes out as asexual upon her realizing it. As Amy accepts the origin of her birth she also vehemently opposes it preferring to remain human. However, Satan's forces including some of Amy’s own birth family actively move to ensure her transformation into a demon is complete so Satan can once again roam freely in the living world.

We all have those days where our inner demons get the best of us. Be it getting a bit too angry or old vices coming back to haunt our attempts at trying to do better and move on. This is the case for teenager Amy ``Amanda” Blightout. A perky fifteen year old girl plagued by her literal and metaphorical demons, as she is the child of Satan (one of several). Having come from a troubled home through her initial adoptive family Amy lost her joy due to the trauma she suffered. After being adopted by her current family at five she regained her sense of self-worth. And with help from her friend Javier Alonso she recovered her lost happiness. She is trained in the art of white magic by her great aunt Mickie to dispel the world of dangerous spirits & evil demons. She gains support from fellow witch in training Sumire Hashimoto who acts as her confidant and trains her when Mickie is busy. As Amy tries to balance her training with her public life she befriends Jupiter Weinstein; the top student of her class who is revealed as a prodigy white witch and begins training with Amy. Eventually she meets fellow anti-christ and half-siblings Abigail Schwartz, Ambrose Whittaker, Margrath Ereng, Pacque Monet who help her in her quest to defeat Satan and regain their humanity. Her eldest twin brother and sister Yuri Semenov & Alex Kascar are in line with Satan and directly responsible for a number of events related to Amy’s trauma dating back to childhood.
