SYNOPSIS:
Sandra, a sexually frigid woman in her thirties, much like her mother and her maiden Aunt Lida, encounters a guy at an office Christmas party in Greenwich Village to whom she is immediately attracted, and they split the party to have drinks together. They strike up a conversation, and feelings deepen between them. Sandra phones Aunt Lida, who lives alone in a cabin in the New York woods, asking if she might drive up to see her and share the good news. (That she has overcome a sort of family curse of frigidity shared with her mother and Aunt Lida.) She does so, but encounters jealousy on the part of her maiden aunt, who fear Sandra will leave her forever for this newfound love, and there is a painful parting of the ways.
